A combination of warmth, humidity or sweating along with low or poor air circulation can cause skin fungus. Common fungus infections include: Ringworm, Athlete's foot and Jock Itch. Other types of skin fungus include Candidiasis or the candid fungus that will cause a brownish, itchy discoloration on the skin. Tinea Versicolor is a type of fungus that actually changes the color of the skin.

Giving the skin lots of fresh air and not allowing moisture to sit against your skin for periods of time can majorly prevent these fungus infections. Since fungus is very contagious, hygiene is especially important to prevent the dry, itching red patches and painful areas of skin fungus.

How to Prevent Fungus

Fungus is spread through contact so sharing clothing, towels or shoes can cause it to spread.

If you think you have been exposed, wash your clothing with anti-fungal soap. Prevent it by wearing shoes in showers and public bathing areas.

Change your shoes and socks and underwear at least once daily. Make sure your socks are not too tight.

Take care to make sure you are completely dry before putting on your shoes or clothes.

Use InfiniteAloe® Skin Care on your feet, hands to help protect against fungus taking hold. Be sure to allow the cream to soak in for a few minutes before putting on your clothes or shoes.

How Aloe Vera and Yucca Extract Can Help When You Have Fungus

The primary ingredient of InfiniteAloe® Skin Care is organic Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis Miller). The Aloe Vera Barbadensis Miller gel has anti-fungal as well as anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antibacterial properties that have been studied for their ability to reduce your discomfort. Studies suggest that Aloe Vera penetrates deeply into the lower levels of the skin, bringing its remarkable properties to where it is most needed. (See References)

InfiniteAloe ® Skin Care also contains Yucca Extract that has long been used as a treatment to purify the blood and as an antibacterial, anti-fungal ointment.

Saponins (plant substances) in both Aloe Vera and Yucca are well known and researched for their essential anti-fungal and antibacterial effects.

How to Use InfiniteAloe® Skin Care When You Have Fungus

If your skin breaks open and becomes infected, you will need to apply or even take antibiotics. Care should be taken to prevent this but if it happens, or there are complications, see your medical doctor.

  1. Give the affected skin plenty of breathing space (wearing open toe shoe or showers with "breathing holes", allow your skin to breathe after bathing before putting on your clothes.)
  2. Prevent infections by wearing sandals in public locker rooms and showers where bare feet may contact the fungus that will spread.
  3. Clean the affected area using water and a light, mild soap that is free from chemicals or fragrances.
  4. After washing apply InfiniteAloe Skin Care to affected areas. Following the application allow skin to breathe and let the skin care soak in completely (for 10-20 minutes) before putting on shoes or socks or clothes. Use the unscented version of InfiniteAloe® Skin Care.
